- 1Marinate thin steak strips for carne asada in lime juice, garlic, and a blend of spices for at least 30 minutes.
- 2Grill the marinated steak over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until charred on the outside and cooked through, then chop it into small pieces.
- 3Meanwhile, fry or bake the French fries until golden brown and crisp, then season them lightly with salt.
- 4Warm a large flour tortilla on a hot griddle for about 20 seconds per side, until soft and pliable.
- 5Lay the tortilla flat and spread a layer of guacamole down the center.
- 6Pile on the chopped carne asada, followed by a generous handful of the crispy fries.
- 7Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and add spoonfuls of sour cream and pico de gallo.
- 8Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it tightly into a burrito.
